A morning of foraging at Bamff Wildland with expert forager Fi Martynoga on Sunday 27th June 10.30 am to 12.30. pm.

About this event

Fi Martyonga lives in the Scottish Borders and has many years experience of foraging and writing about woodland, food, rewilding, and other related topics. She edited “A Handbook of Scotland’s Wild Harvests”. She once spent a year living as if in the 18th century to find out what it was like to live on an entirely local diet in rural Scotland. She will take you out for two hours through the fields, woods and wetlands of Bamff in search of edible plants – showing you what is good to eat and what is to be avoided, passing on her considerable knowledge in her own humourous and entertaining way.

Meet at the front (South side) of the big house at 10.30 am. You should be back 12.30 pm.

Wear all weather footwear and comfortable outdoor clothes – (long trousers recommended in case of nettles).
